Today I'm 28 weeks! Not much has changed for me, but the baby is growing and more and more active - especially at night! Guess it is the baby's way of preparing me as to what is coming! Bottom line, being pregnant is fabulous and loving every minute of it!

69 years of women in the Marine Corps
On the 12th of February I went with 40 other female Marines on a bus bound for Parris Island South Carolina. It was to celebrate 69 years of Women in the Marine Corps. I can’t even express how proud and honored I am to have the title of Marine. It is amazing how far women have come in the Marine Corps. Of course going back to where it all began brought back a lot of memories. I would do it again in a heartbeat! There were places we couldn’t go because they were still training, but what we did see was completely worth the drive!
I left with my head a little higher!

Love this sign!

Oh our beloved sand pit! Were all of us spent time and met many sand fleas!

Our beloved chow hall, it was actually a lot smaller than I remembered! All I cared about was eating, nothing else!

Ultrasound #3
Today Craig and I went back to get another ultrasound. The baby was perfect and was laying just where the tech needed him/her to lay. Sorry the picture is a little fuzzy, but I wanted to get a 3D of the baby's face. At one point during the ultrasound, the baby looked like he/she was saluting. It was PERFECT! Craig and I are loving every minute of this!

20 weeks (5months)
Today Craig and I went for our 20 week check up and ultrasound.
The baby is growing healthy and completely normal. We have to go back because the baby wouldn't move so the technician could see the spine. So I'm hoping that next time we can get a 3D photo of the little face :o).
We are so excited, words can't describe!

17 weeks
17 weeks and counting :o)
(Sorry for the angry face I was in deep concentration)
The baby bump is slowly emerging!
Ginger
On New Years Eve, while Craig was on duty, I drove to PA to pick up the new addition to the Skinner Family. Her name is Ginger ;o)
She is a 6 month old full blood Basset Hound - she is potty trained as well as crate trained. She has been a great addition to our family and now Daisy has a playmate!
